We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. But I think the reason why you had to filter it over to dark colors is because . . . I haven't really seen any artwork from you at all with a nighttime setting so you just need practice at that since yeah, the shading is alittle weird on his torso. (Stomach.)
But the background, Leave it as it is. I like it and it's not too over-complicated and doesn't distract you from the picture. XD

Lol, next time try looking for a picture you like with . . A nighttime setting maybe getting an idea of what night colors are suppsoed to be. O.O; Hopefully that'll help.
